Don’t struggle on without asking for help: a message from Jayne Couzins
” I am a Village Agent working with the Food Resilience Task Force within the Community Council for Somerset. I am writing to raise awareness of food supplies currently available in Somerset for those in need. We have, in the Taunton area, freezers that are stocked with frozen meals available for anyone in the community who is struggling financially and can make use of food deliveries. We also have ambient stock in our warehouse. This varies from week to week but we can deliver whatever is donated to us. Our Taunton freezers are located at the Baptist Church, Creech St Michael, The Link Centre, Taunton and Rockwell Green Christian Fellowship, Wellington. We have other freezers across the county too. We have funding until the 31st August at least and I know many families struggle to feed their children during the school holidays so please make use of this service.
