This was the message from our latest newsletter regarding Industrial Action.
NO teacher took industrial action, today, knowing it would greatly impact on the Moving Up plans for the whole school:

“Industrial Action is planned to take place across the country on 2 dates, next week: Wednesday 5th and Friday 7th July. This action is in light of the ongoing dispute with the government over working conditions and unfunded pay offers. Our complexity is that the 5th is traditionally a time around the region that is used for transition days / moving-up days, where pupils will meet their new teachers. Working with our teachers – through proactive dialogue – it has been agreed that Wednesday will see the school open to all pupils and that all events planned will go ahead.
On Friday, there will be an impact on classes and, currently, Foundation Stage Class, Year 2 Class, Year 3 Class and Year 4 Class will be affected. These classes will be asked to stay at home.”

These newsletter updates are a vital place to find the latest updates, as well as Dojo / Tapestry. Sometimes, Facebook filters are in effect in school and, therefore, do not work. PLEASE do not rely on Facebook for your school news. SUBSCRIBE to the newsletter on the website to stay fully up to date!
